suicide doors

just wondering how do u think suicide doors would look on the sedan i like the look of them on the rolls royce and other hih end cars and was wondering if i should do it or not and have the door handles shaved

Don't do it. You might like it for a few weeks but they will be as popular as spinner wheels within a few months.

Those arent suicide doors, those are lambo doors. I dont really like lambo doors on the sedan, unless you go all out VIP style.

With the 4 door, if you put suicides on the front.. that would look really tacky IMO and you wouldnt be able to do just the rear because of where the back of the door meets with the wheel well.

those are lambo doors suicide doors are the ones in the back that open revers

also how hard would it be to install nd ive seen them for only about 500 nd says there bolt on but u havta drill holes for it

I've never seen em on a G sedan. It's probably just a universal bracket, which IMO is cheap. If you're going to do it, make sure its a vehicle specific kit.

i no that there is alot of work to do this but has anybody else got any info on it i no the wiring needs to be lengthend and the holes drilld but can i use the existing lock and those other features

Thanks for the props

To be honest, I thouht about it. I even have a friend who owns a body shop and would help me do it for almost nothing. In my opinion it does not fit the look of the car. The G sedan is too sporty for something like that. If I had a 7-series BMW or Bently I would do it. I just think it does not fit the style.

That is my $0.02. It's your car and you can do what ever makes you happy.

I do not consider the RX-8 a "sedan". It's more of a 2+2 and the design of the car included that type of door.
