TSBs done or not?

I asked my dealer if any/all TSBs had been done to my car. I bought it as a demo with 5000 miles on it and its a 2003.5. He was looking at the computer screen at the dealership when I asked him and he said something like "Nothing shows as being needed" My question is does the dealership generally have a record of what has already been done and what needs to be done. Surely they do, but his answer just didn't lead me to believe that he really knew about my vehicle.

Ask for a copy of the service record for the vehicle, instead of asking if anything needs to be done.

Many of the TSB's are only performed as-needed.. your car needs to exhibit symptoms before they fix it.

The only headlight TSB I'm aware of is the one where they install caps to keep you from adjusting the headlights yourself. It doesn't affect the operation of the car one way or the other, and isn't something I'd make a special trip to the dealership for. If it's this one, then it was only for early cars.. they started installing the caps at the factory.

Re: TSBs done or not?

okay, I thought of a better question than my original post. Are there any TSBs I should get done to my 2003.5 sedan if the dealer isn't showing any have been performed?
Thanks!

If the dealer says your car is fine, and you don't have any specific issues with the car, then no.. it's fine. TSB's are mostly to-do's to address specific complaints, and not all cars have the problem.

The circuit board was recalled and should be replaced. The brake
light switch should also be replaced. Make sure you get these done.
