Twin Turbos!!!
I'm not convinced of that. IMHO, they can keep upping the displacement but I think 3.7-4.0 liters will be about the max. It will take quite of bit of $ to have the engine balanced enough to give it the reving qualities we've grown to like.
If they do stay with 3.5 or 3.7 liters, there's not much left to do. I don't see varible valve lift being implemented. But I do think direct injection is in the works. I "think" the new VQ35HR isn't yet? Compression is already over 10:1. Not much room left.
Even BMW ran into a wall with their inline 6. They went turbos for their 6 cylinder. And for the M series, they went V8 for the M3 and V10 for the M5.

I still think they screwed up by stopping the production of the Camaro/firebird. The redesigned Camaro looks like crap in my opinion.
