Re: That GREEN Color!
Black is every color put together. White is the absense of color. As to the critics of black looking good for a week and then looking nasty, that's part of the deal. As my sig. implies, I have a 12 year old black vette. Its just as good looking next to my new G35S. I just keep a good coat of wax on it, keep it covered, and wash it regularly, mostly with just plain water and a sheepskin mitt and it stays looking new. The trick is wax every month, no car washes, and lots of water when washing. Sure it takes more work, but I like cars and washing them's more of a relaxation time than work for me. Course my preference for car paint mimic's Henry Ford's paint offerings. "People can buy my car in any color they want, as long as its black!"

92TripleBlack...
"Um, yeah.. I'm going go ahead and have to disagree with you on that."
I had a $7000 black paint job on my 1994 Chevy Fullsize (full show truck) It was 100X shinier and deeper than my G will ever be. I waxed it EVERY day and was still never happy with the way it showed spiderwebs. The smallest traces of dust made it look filthy.
Take your black cars to a gas station at night. Check them out under those flourescent lights and tell me black still looks good. I think not.
You are right though, black looks great (in a vacuum).

You'll find imperfections in any paint under that lighting, I had a gold car, pre-clearcoat, and I would always take it to a gas station to see how I did with the wax job, btw, thank God for clearcoat!

Bought my Emerald Mist sedan two weeks ago today, and loving it (except it's winter here and I'm having a hell of a time keeping it clean!). I was specifically looking for a car that was NOT silver or black...seems every other car here in Calgary is silver, and not just the G's. Plus my previous car was silver, I had driven it for 7 years and was looking for a change. I looked at both the red (is that Garnet in 03?) and green. I like the green for a couple of reasons: 1. It's different, 2. green shows great contrast with the silver of the grille and wheels. I *may* have gotten a bit better deal because of the colour, which is okay by me since it's what I wanted! VERY few green cars in Calgary (population about 1 million), I think I have only seen one or two others.
