Any success with dealers and rattles?

After less than 2500 miles my car is annoying the hell out of me. I almost hate to drive it. My sunroof rattles, I can get it to go away sometimes if I move the cover back and forth. It seems like my rear passenger door rattles, it so god damn annoying. My rear deck creeks whenever I accelerate, brake or pulling out of my driveway. I can't believe it's this bad, my 93 accord that was totalled and rebuilt doesn't have a single rattle or creek!

I was wondering if you guys had any luck with the dealer fixing any fo your rattles and creeks? Also does anyone know if Santa Monica Infinit or Metro Infiniti are any good when it comes to getting these fixed? I know the sales manager at Metro personally, but I want the best to work on my car.

You'd be better served addressing the rattles yourself with a little time and felt strips.

I can tell you it took me 3 times at the Tustin,Ca with the same answer "what rattles" It drives me up the f***ing wall. I then took it where I bought it Costa Mesa,Ca and they fixed it the first time there. Well 3 months later its back and I am finding more rattles but mainly still from the rr door . I love my G but it squeeks like a French ****** bed !!! All I can say is keep on it and they will fix it.

Either I am the luckiest G35 buyer in the USA, or you guys do something terrible to your cars that I haven`t done. Still no rattles on mine, absolutely none! And I live on a rough, unpaved road. You might get reported for "G" abuse if you aren`t careful!

Exactly same here. Rear right door rattles sometimes. Other times it's ok. Took it once to Infiniti of Oakland to be "fixed" and twice to Infiniti of Pleasanton (denied hearing it but put in felt strips anyway). Still same damn problem.

The local dealer fixed all of mine with a variety of TSB's. It's worth letting them try.

Sounds like the RR is a problem for a lot of people too. I'm going to call the sale manager (or have my mom call his mom ) and see if I can get any special treatment at metro and actually get it fixed. Aside from buying my car from Metro, I have to say their service is decent so far. I had my oil changed by them, I told the guy not to wash my car. I look at the reciept and guess what? A complimentary wash as typed into the invoice. I had to go find the guy and tell him agian NOT to wash it. When I got my car back there were white prints all over the place, it was from the gloves, I wasn't a real problem it blew right off, but they should of done that themelves.

The loaner car had the EXACT same rattles as mine. It's those damn rear windows. There is a TSB, so I'm taking that in next time.

Yeah I noticed that too. I took my car in for a check-up and got a loaner car. The loaner car had the exact same creaking noise in exactly the same place as my car. Anybody know how to fix this yourself. I'm fed up trying to get an incompetent dealer to fix it.
