Yes, take it to the dealer! I've taken my car in more than once for rattles, mostly the windows. They were good about fixing them and right now, I have one annoying rattle in the dash. I will try to address that during my next oil change.

Infiniti has acknowledge the common rattles....
Just what I was looking for. Thanks! I'll give a dealer one more try before I do it myself.

dealers dont have to do the tsb but most of the rattles will be covered. best way to get it done is take a ride w/ the tech to show him/her where the rattles are coming from exactly.

I can tell you first hand Tustin is the service to go to... I had the same problem(s) you had/have and although it took two attempts, my rattles were rectified.

My experience with Costa Mesa were dismal (if you want details PM me)

Truly I think it has to do with what service tech works on your car and what relationship you have with them. Ron Renallow at Tustin always got my car perfect... no I don’t know him personally so this is not an endorsement for referral fee... unfortunately he doesn’t work there anymore - but I haven’t had any problems with Tustin in the 2 years I've been taking my car there.

Be specific with the "rattle" problem and they will specifically address it. If your car is more than a year old - forget about it, Fix yourself.

If you are a loyal customer they will be loyal to you.

Count you blessing with Costa Mesa though... they must have finally replaced their service management. You wouldn’t believe the BS I went through there.

CM has sales is GREAT though!

Well I went to Montclair today, and they needed more time and needed to order some parts so they told me as soon as the parts come in that they would fix the rattles... well I guess I'll see how that goes...

I've had my G 3 months...same problems.Brought it in twice so far and they supposedly fixed it.2 days later noises were back.I fixed the window noises with a simple bar of soap slid through the tracks a couple of times.
But I agree, it seems like Infiniti wants me to go away and not the noises!!!
I hear the same issues with BMW drivers time and time again. Not from the Lexus people though.
Maybe if I pull up to the dealer with a Lexus with dealer plates for a test drive they'll change their mind.....
But i still love the G!

Oakland Infiniti is horrible... bad service. I've complained about the rattle five times and they've done nothing to fix it. Telling me there is nothing wrong, as soon as I drive out it rattles.

Exactly the same experience with oakland infiniti. They probably didn't even look at it. Drive the car away, still rattles!

does anybody get rattling sound around the steering wheel/dash??

I also get a creeking noise from the rear when I accelerate, and brake. Is there a fix for this?

Ive took my 05g35x to the dealer 3times to get the rear rattling fixed, it would be fine for couple of miles and would come back. im going to bring it back and try to get it fixed again.

I had a rattle that was coming from my back seat and it was some kinda bar behind it that had lose bolts. They removed it and reinstalled it with lock tight.

OCG35, they must've changed the service management 'cuz I've gotten some really good service at Costa Mesa. They've changed most of my complaints, I'm getting a new audio unit, they fixed the rattle from the coupe middy and also fixed things that I didn't even mention. But the only damned thing is, they can't duplicate the rattles I tell them about... My worst rattle comes from the rear passenger window when it's fully closed. They said they don't hear a rattle but heard a squeak so they greased it up. I'm not really hearing anything anymore but you never know... I'm thinking about purchasing some dynomat and spending a weekend with the DIY's I dig up here~

Does it sound like a chirping noise? It can be the rearview mirror w/ homelink. The buttons are known to rattle inside making a chirping noise. It stopped making that for me for a while now so I'ma just leave it for now~

Nope its more like a metallic ringing kind of rattle like something is loose underneath the dash. It comes and goes. Sometimes I don't hear it at all.
