Now stop, I didn't mean that's all I saw, LOL! The Infiniti dealer here isn't a huge one by any means. And, it better be genuine wood trim, they advertise it like that, my friend said he'd get his knife out and try to scratch it to see! [img]/w3timages/icons/laugh.gif[/img]

I had a Nissan Sentra once. I think they have very few Infiniti cars for loaners and takes at least 2 weeks in advance to book an Infiniti loaner car.

My dealership has a fleet of I35's and G35's to loan out, but they don't give them out for oil changes.. I wish I could pay $4 for the small services to get one. When I do qualify for one, I usually only have to make an appointment 3 or 4 days out, though.

I just took my car in for the rear brakes squeeling and the driver side front door popping everytime it is rolled up. They said that they would have a loaner car for me, however, they did not! Instead they tried to have enterprise give me a compact car from KIA. What horse #@(* is that!? I steamed and they could see it, so they upgraded me to a midsize car. I said fine. Walked across the parking lot to enterprise and they said "Your midsize car will be a KIA." What the @#$^ is going on? Then they said, "For 5 dollars we can put you in a Jeep Cherokee". I didn't argue. I gave the 5 dollars and thought that the 5 dollar loss was well worth not having to drive a KIA! LOL

The Bimmer dealer here uses Fords for its road-side assistance. Big, modified F-350s with "BMW: The Ultimate Driving Machine" tattooed across the side. I once saw two 3-series on I-465, one was trying to jump the other one... as I drove back the other way, I saw the F-350 there, jumping both of them... apparently someone screwed up and didn't know how to jump a car [img]/w3timages/icons/shocked.gif[/img]

Well, BMW doesn't make trucks for the US market, so what else are they going to do?
I've heard stories of Mercedes giving out a Geo Metro as a loaner. Now that's just plain insulting.

Same for me. They either give me an I35 or G35 sedan. The dealership that I use said that they cannot give a loaner car for just an oil change, but I have not been in that situation yet. I usually tell them about a few squeaks or other small annoyances that are warranty work and I get a car. Another dealer in town says a minimum of 2 hours of work before a loaner will be issued. That is BS since my friend droped off his G35 on a saturday for an oil change and got a loaner. What they say and what they do often is different! Look at Infiniti's total ownership experience...I think the wording is kind of vague on loaner cars...

haha i've seen something similar happen to a friend up in chicago. he had his S class towed to the dealership on emergency. they didn't have any benz loaners available on such short notice, but he needed a car. that dealer has a contract with the enterprise next door and got him into a '03 corolla.
