Well I don't recommend buying any "kids", that's illegal.

If you just want to replace your low beams you only need an H1 kit.

Piaa has some nice H4 bulbs that match the oem 4300k bulbs quite well. I'm not sure about the 5000k.

ok.these HID kits you guys are talking about.Do they come with lens?or just the the reflector behind the lens..or what? I'm slowly picking up on some things with these cars(only had it 3 months) but now your losing me.
By the way. My drivers side lens has a definite water stain on the "inside" of it.And it's noticeable...to me anyway. Is their a seal in their or something?Would this be covered by warranty?
And here's my most emberrasing question of all.
What does OEM mean?

No, this is just the bulbs and ballasts. If you search on ebay you will see what I mean.
If the lens has a water stain you will have to take them apart to clean it.

Yes, lots of people have but you either spend a lot of money or loose your high beams. There are aftermarket H4 HID kits that will replace the fog/hi which have a small H3 type bulb for the high beam but it is only for flashing people. The beam pattern sucks. We put a set in my friend's G sedan, I would never get them.

I am thinking about doing a set of TL bi-xenon projector high/fogs in mine. I need a new project. Why not get the best bi-xenon’s to go with my S2000 low beams?

that would be pretty dope tt.... if it was up to me my idea was to put tl's in the high beam spot for high's and low's and then the low beam spot would be for a projector aimed close for a fog light "effect"

I am looking at doing something similar now. Putting a projector low beam in then using a bi projector for fog/high. I have talked to a few people about it but no one has said they could do it yet...

For the original poster, I agree with ttrank. Get the OEM HID headlights. But if you're thinking about an HID kit, reconsider a projector retrofit. Yes, it's more complex, and a bit more expensive, but it is worth it. There are many of us who went with an HID kit initially, only to spend more money later to purchase or do a retrofit.

It's very possible to do. You just need the bixenon projector (a TL + clear lense is the way to go here). You may or may not need a relay, but you most certainly need a diode to keep the high beams functional. I said to myself that I'd never do another quad projector retrofit after I finished mine. It's 4x the work of a low beam only retrofit.

TSX low beam with 50W ballasts and 50W bulbs, + TL fog/high with clear lens.

The high beams are still functional. I installed a resistor with the solenoids to drop the voltage down to about 9V. There are a few stories on hidforum of the high beam solenoids overheating and blowing out.

Why don't you buy it on ebay? I got a set of coupe headlights with ballasts, bulbs, and harnesses in very good condition for $300. No one goes to the dealership for this stuff. I hope....

Make sure you stay away from those "JDM black" sedan lights though.
