Changing out Fog/High Bulbs

Can somebody post pics of their swapped out oem Fog/High bulbs? There are too many routes to take and I'm not sure which one would look best. Putting in Amber Piaas to create a "lexus-like" look, putting in superwhites to get rid of the gross halogen look, or putting in another HID kit for the fogs/highs. Please post your pics!

I put in a set of PIAA 2500k amber bulbs when I did my projector retrofit. I love them. I'll try to get some pics for you.

Lightbulb

Ya, I would like to see what that looks like too. I really need to change out those nasty halogen/yellowish lights. I was looking at the PIAA Super Extreme H4 Halogen bulbs that are supposed to be 4200K low beam (driving light) and a 3950K high beam.

This is the first I've heard of this 'lexus light look' so I would be very interested in seeing the results.

Here is a picture of my PIAA xtreme force H4's that I threw in. They match the HID low beams pretty well.

Those do match well; a little more blue but not bad at all.

Wow those PIaa's look excellent. How hard was installation? I noticed it's really easy to get to the upper HID's on our car, but impossible to reach down to the Fogs/Highs

You have to either pull the headlights or go in from the fender.

You have to remove the front bumper cover. It's not a quick job but at the same time it's not hard at all.

Thumbs up

psedog... I'm sold on those PIAAs now! They look pretty good.

Now to try and find a Toronto area dealer whose pricing won't leave you seeking rape counseling!

It's not too difficult, you just have to loosen the front wheel well cover and it's right there. The hardest part is not really being able to see what you are doing and putting the light bulb boot back on can be a pain in the rump. Total installation time was around 20~25 minutes for the first time doing it.

Thank you, these were taken out of a Toyota that I had for a few months while in Japan (Had a baby a couple of months before leaving and had to sell the GTR early )

Those PIAA HID bulb also provide you with the high beam functionality? I thought they don't.

What about these I'm eyeing on ebay?

If they are H4 bulbs then they do still have fog and high beam. My Piaa's do.
