Poor Bluetooth quality

I've got Bluetooth on my '06 G35 but used it only one week because of complaints by whoever was on the other end of the conversation. They said it was very hard to hear me. The Bluetooth worked as far as setup, dialing, etc. But the audio quality for the other person was terrible. Are others happy with it?

BTW, I now use a purchased Bluetooth headset in the car so I know my cellphone is not the problem (and, no, I did not have both bluetooth units on at the same time).

Thanks.

I have great luck with it thus far. No complaints on the other end at all. The only issue I have with it is when the bluetooth is active and I get direct connect call. The bluetooth will allow rx audio to come in but will not transmit my audio back out. I have Nextel obviously.

same here, person on the other end has trouble hearing the conversation. It works just like a speaker phone, so sometimes you'll have no problems and other times you will.

Quality is sub par. Biggest comment I get is that it sounds like I am in a trash can when I am talking to them. I also find that I have to talk quite loud.

It is rather convenient and technically works fine with my phone though.

I have this exact same problem..I have asked the dealer 2 times to fix it..

First time, they never even checked it completely forgot.
second, time they tell me nothings wrong with it just to turn it up on the steering wheel..uhm what? It's not me having the problem hearing its the opposite end hearing or trying to hear me. so they just gave me a cop out.. I have 2 phones paired to my car and when i picked her up the phones were still paired. My question is how did they check a problem with out pairing a phone? hmmm from my experience with this infinity dealership is that they suck. I aslo have a right pull problem.. they keep blame tires, i don't wana go back and waste my time but i do want these problems fixed.. I wana start some where like the BT.. lets get this fixed

Everytime I make a call. I let the stereo mute out and then I switch the call to my headset directly. I gave up on trying to sound decent on this thing...
