Just wanted to share a few pictures of my pride and joy! Loving it....can't wait to till the 1,000 mile break in....
First mod will be some tint..and will break the bank from there. I read a thread earlier about swirl marks on black g35 and it scared me. Had to go wash mine again and examine in detail - glad to see that there were NO swirl marks!

nice! i have a blk on blk too and i love it.. wait until that 1000 mile mark thats when you really know what you have bought back home from the dealer
The clutch on the G engages much higher than my previous car - A4. So gotta get used to it. Everytime I change a gear, I got too much gas on it as I expect the clutch to disengage at the halfway point and I have already pressed the gas and then when the clutch finally disengages - I have got the engine reved up a bit and it just surges forward. Feel like I gotta learn to change gears all over again.
One idiot has stalled it so far - he won't be driving my car again! So far, I am not jealous at all of the 2007's....except maybe for the stereo in that sucker! It is kick-a**....got a chance to hear it at the dealer when I bought mine. He had one 07 parked in the back...the inside is pretty dang nice!
Although, I don't know if I would be using all the gizmo's on the new one - nice to have - but I am happy with what the 2006 has to offer. I get to truly enjoy the heart of the car versus all the other technology

Zaino my friend. I just washed her yesterday and went over to local parking lot with the direct sun and checked all sides. I don't have any swirl marks except for when I use the California duster on it (which is rare). unfortunately I did find some stains in the clear here-and-there so it's time for a buff.

I guess I got lucky...did you not check your car before you took delivery? I took my delivery at night....so the only thing that was screwed up was a crack in the one of my tail lights which they will fix at the first service. Originally Posted by g35sedan5at

Like others have said - you have to be very careful with black. When you wash/wax your car yourself - be careful as to what kind of cloth or rag you use. Don't scrub the car too hard....if your car is dirty and you wash it really hard the dirt that is accumulated on the car will end up in your cloth/sponge/rag and as you scrub hard it will end up leaving swirl marks. Very common mistake made my a lot of people - including my ex on her brand new beemer! Stupid hussie was excited about her 330cic and decided to wash it the first weekend and then called me saying how horrible her paint was on the BMW! lol...i tried not to laugh.
Easiest way to avoid swirls is do an eash wash couple of times....or you end up with swirls!

Well it is called the Aero package on-line....but whatever. Got a great deal on it that I couldn't pass up. The 07' similarly equipped would have been touching almost $39-40K! Ttrank - dude your ride is sweet. Have you been on the dyno to see what it is putting out? Nice interior too..

i did inspect it but theyre only noticable in direct sunlight and EVERY black car had them....g's. m's, fx's....so i couldnt exactly complain, maybe its the extremely hot and humid weather down here in miami, ionno
