Grrr First Problem With My Car =/

ok, this moring got in my car to go to work, and noticed that my brake light, VDC light, and SLIP light stay on on my cluster. any ideas why. going in for service next friday for it but wondering if anyone else had this happen.

soudns like your brakes have worn out? I remember another member posting about how his rear brakes were so worn that he tapped them and his rear wheel locked and sent him into a spin... I'd get that appointment moved up to ASAP just to be sure.

and that will cause the lights on the cluster to stay on? doesnt make sense.

TPS needs to be replaced. But normally you wouldn't be able to drive the car. Have you checked the brake fluid?

what? TPS? what does that have to do with my VDC and SLIP light staying on?

A few people have had issues with SLIP/VDC light coming on and they can't drive their car. The issue is the TPS and has to replaced by Infiniti. But if you are able to drive the car, it probably isn't the case.

oh ok, the answers make alot more sense now, thanks for that link. but my ebrake lights comes on and stays on too. but if i hit the gas hard the brake light disapears but then comes back on. yea i changed my apt. for halloween. the earlist i could get.

Sounds more like the pads to me than the VDC.

More than likely the pads and or low brake fluid. There was also a defective brake switch on some early model G's that caused those symptoms.

In any case, drive carefully and get to the dealer ASAP.
LOL, if that's your first and only problem with your '05, then you're doing well.

your throttle body will be replaced. Call dealer ahead make sure they have the part cuz this is what it's gonna be.

ummm...did you recently fill it up with gas??? may be check the gas cap and make sure its tight (at least 3 clicks) and then try the manual reset for the ecu

There is a good chance your brake fluid is low, most likely because your pads are wearing and need to be replaced.

yeah checked my brake fluid, it was on the min line. checked my brakes and yea, i need front breaks. i filled the brakefluid got rid of my lights on the cluster. now its change the breaks.
