Are you Easterners sending us YOUR cold weather? Walking from the parking lot at work this morning, I almost froze my face off with the wind coming out of the east! By the time I got to the front door, my eyes were watering like crazy!
BTW, yesterday's temperature just south of Edmonton at the Airport recorded -43.6 degrees C. That's -46.5 F for Merlin and the gang! Mind you, I heard that it's getting chilly enough down in the Sunshine State to worry the citrus growers.

Re: Lowest temperture on car termometer.
Man, what a difference a few days makes! Prior to just over a week ago, our temps were fairly moderate and we had almost no snow on the ground (refer to the pic from the Alberta G Meet) https://g35driver.com/forums/showfla...=5&part=3&vc=1
My patio table was almost dry! Now look at it! You can hardly even see the pool anymore as well!
We're also expecting a few more inches of the white stuff over the next couple of days!

What a lovely looking winter wonderland.....Shall we come and help you shovel?
It's probably not any consolation Gord, but they're 'freezin' their orange's off' in Fla....... Nice pic.

Re: Lowest temperture on car termometer.
In back, I usually just shovel part of my deck off to get to the BBQ. Thanks anyway. Yes, I still BBQ in the winter unless it gets down to -20 or lower. I have to quit then because the ***** on the Weber won't turn! If I absolutely HAVE to, I'll fire up the patio heater which I move beside the BBQ and let it heat up enough so I can turn the *****.
I'm SO embarassed
When I started my snowblower up the first time this year the other day, I forgot that I drained ALL of the oil out this summer intending to put fresh oil in before first use. Well of course the engine seized but luckily after it cooled, I managed to get it turned over by pulling on the cord while cranking the electric starter. Not sure how much damage I did, but it seems to start okay now. Not sure if the semi-synthetic 0w-30 that I used helped in any way. Now THAT would be a test! Put in DuraLube (or whatever), run the engine, drain the oil, and start 'er up in 6 months!
