As weird this may sound, six speed G35 allways been more money then auto..I guess that's because 6 speed allways came sport tuned, unlike auto there is option for non sports tuned then again i could be wrong. However a fully loaded auto ST can eventually cost you more then 6 speed ST that's if you add nav & all the other extra options. Btw this is based on 06/ price.

Hmm. I paid $30,700 for my 05 6MT brand new. MSRP was somewhere around 2k more. So I guess Infiniti hasn't done much of a price hike at all. These prices should still sway some buyers away from Lexus or BMW.

MSRP for the base 06 G35 Manual is 31,200, while the auto is 31,450. So if you paid more, then I think the dealer ripped you.

Now for the 07 it's already 2K more, so how much are the dealers going to up the price now?

looks like you still can't get the wood trim on the 6MT models.

Yep, the domestic vehicles do the same thing because its a preformance item. Also the Toyota Martix XRS is more and comes with a six speed manual.

i suspect that manuals cost more because it is in less demand....more of a specialty or niche market....according to non-enthusiasts market driven world.... in a sense people are getting lazier (or the markets changing to suit the lazy lifestyle).
