Air/Fule Sensor

my "engine service soon" light came on so i took it into the dealer.. they said it was the Air/Fule Sensor that set it off, inspected it and it was fine so they took the light off..

since i got it back, i've been getting about 12-15MPG city driving.. is that normal?? i used to get at least 18.. i have a feeling they remapped the fuel mapping and now i'm running rich???

how should i fix? take it back to the dealer??

i have a 06 sedan, 3600 miles.. its pratically brand new

help!!

It's the Oxygen sensor. One of 4. But only 2 actually affect the a/f ratios. If the sensor is actually bad, the light will go one again in 2-6 days, depending how much you drive the car.

If it comes back on have the dealer find which O2 sensor and replace it. They are over $100 each! If you have a bad sensor then it could easily be the reason for your mileage.
