Do you guys think a small air tank thing made out of PVC pipe with a schrader valve and put the sensors in side and seal it up and presurize it up to 30psi that it would trick the monitoring system?

I was told by the Infiniti service manager here that they temporarily disable the TPMS system for many customers
every fall when they switch them to snows, and turn it back on again during the spring tire swap.

But I also see other members like the OP reporting that their dealers insist that it can't be disabled.
Either somebody's wrong... or both are giving the right answer to different questions.
Maybe the dealers that say they can't disable it are really saying that they won't do it for free.

If you're on this site, that means that you love your G and you constantly care for it. So the TPMS is redundant. I don't care about the sensors at all. I just keep an eye out on the tires and check them ever so often. So getting on with my point... Get a screwdriver and take an hour and pull out the light bulb lighting up the warning light.

WTF, I brought my car to the dealer to refinish the 19" OEM wheels because of stains. I took it home after they refinished the wheels and found out that they stole all the TPS from my OEM wheels. Now, my tire pressure monitor is ON all the times.

If those are the after pictures, then you've still got TPMS sensors in your wheels.
On the other hand, if those are the after pictures they did a crappy job refinishing your wheels.

It actually does tell you which one is flat. If you have the navigation screen it will display the tires on there.
The sequence is
1. driver front
2. Passenger front
3. Passenger rear
4. Driver rear

That light is actually a good reminder of the car, it can save you on having to purchase tires that you didnt need to buy if you just paid attention and kept an eye on your tire pressure.

I'm sure they really "stole" them and didn't "forget" to put them on. And to clarify, you sure you don't mean valve stem caps!? The picts you displayed show the TPS's installed with missing valve caps......

The dealer also told me if I drive in winter with stock rims, the salt may damage the sensors on the rims, and they cost around $130 CDN each.

Anyone with other than factory rims do you drive with the light on, doesn't it **** you off?
My winter setup doesn't have TPS's and no, it doesn't **** me off. It alarms me every time the light comes on, but doesn't bother me one bit.

Buddy that big ole metal valve stem is the tire pressure sensor . you just dont have the valve cap on there lol. Assumptions are a persons quickest downfall. How stupid would it look if you went back to the dealer and accused them of stealing all your tire pressure sensors yet they have been on there the whole time
