That sucks, sorry to hear about the headlight-jacking attempt. This happened a few months ago in my gated condo community, where the headlights were stolen from an Acura TL and a modded Lexus IS300 (plus its turbo intercooler!). I guess this shows that no matter where you live or park your car, there's always going to be a way for a thief to lay prey on HID lights

^^Lexusk8, you are right. If they really want it, they will get it. Pretty amazing that they got a turbo part too. By the way, the shop that repaired mine last year said the Lexus that its lights stolen that night was going to cost about $1300 per light!!

my in-laws live in the gables and I think about my headlights everytime I stay at their house....Every morning, I get nervous walking out to the car to make sure my headlights are still there.

it also makes me glad I moved out of Miami, every time I leave.

One good reason for breaking up with my gf lol... she lived in a very shady neighborhood, and every morning I wondered if my car was still parked outside. At home, I have a garage, so I sleep sound.
