I have an '04 G35x, and having a weird problem with the bulbs on the side in the backseat area. When I open any of the rear doors, both of the lights in the back (above the side windows) turn on, like they are supposed to. When doors are closed, I press the switch on the right side to turn on the light and it doesn't turn on. I do the same thing with the left side, and it turns on fine.

Last week, I had the same problem but the left one wasn't working, and the right one was lol. This week, they seem to have switched places lol.

Now, do I need a new bulb on the right side? I thought of that at first, but then when I open the doors, that bulb does seem to work, so I'm not sure if I need a new bulb or not.

Anyone know what's going on?

You don't need a new bulb. Are you pushing the switch all the way over? It is a 3-position switch.
