Hi,
I am having a problem on my 05 G35x, maybe 5% of the time, that when I turn on the cruise the set light flashes or blinks and I can't set the speed. It will not work until the car is shut off and restarted. I am taking it the dealer next week but they seem to have no clue. This is the second dealer that I am taking the car to for this problem. I can't take it back to the first dealer as we had a disagreement over a few things.
If anyone had this problem and know what was changed I would really appreciate it if you could let me know.

I had this problem last year. The source of the problem was the buttons on the steering wheel. The dealer replaced them (~300) and the problem was fixed. I'd use this opportunity to buy a sport steering wheel (from a 6MT) if you don't already have one, since it has cool orange stitching and hopefully a good set of buttons.

 

Mine was just a moisture problem. Opened the hood and siliconed every area on the pass side that water could get into the cabin. Waited a couple days for it to dry and bam, she works fine again...
