2004 keyless entry

Hello all, been researching keyless entry problems all over this forum and have been unable to get mine working. Bought a new remote, changed batteries, checked every fuse with multi-meter and test light, but cannot get vehicle to learn remote???? Been through programming steps a hundred times. I can get the vehicle hazards and park lights to flass twice, but nothing happens after pressing any button on remote. I noticed other posters have had same problem but no one has ever posted a solution. Any help would be appreciated. Bad BCM possibly??? thanks FNG

thanks for the quick reply, nope both remotes right fcc freq and both work on other infiniti's. I'm about to pull my hair out. disconnected car battery twice as well. When it started to go out it was working intermittantly and I thought it was just the remote batteries dying. I'm an aircraft mechanic and would install a new keyless security system b4 taking it to our ripoff dealership where I live.

Try a local locksmith. Many can (re)program keyless remotes for half the cost of the dealer. That's what I did when I had to buy a key for my second fob. Everything has to be programed at the same time.

You can also take it to a Nissan dealership to reprogram as well. Much cheaper then taking it to a Infiniti dealership.

Consult II cards

okay new question. Has anyone ever bought a nissan consult II ethernet software card and the obd2 serial cable and been successful at programing the same as a dealer. The reason I ask is I would like to keep this car for a very long time and do all the work and upgrades myself. I would rather spend a few hundred extra bucks and have the ability to do this myself. Anyone ever done this?
