Axis Wheel Offset!!!!

I went to the wheel store to purchase the axis decades and there tell ing me that the offset is 40 in the rear. Is that good or bad......plus I want to lower the vehicle about 1.3 in front and 1.2 in rear.

Any recommendations for some clean 5 spoke to 10 spoke wheels that have a good offset and a nice lip.

40-45 offset all the way around is what you want. Since you are buying this from a shop you won't have the risk of not fitting. I would lower the car before going to the shop so that when you have the wheels installed, they know exactly what they are up against.

So a 40 offset isn't bad? I don't want the wheels to be sticking out.

Depends on the width of the rim in the rear. +40 is fine for 8" and 9" in the rear.

+40 should be okay with a 9.5 rear but it is cutting it a little close. A test fit should yield the true results or you could play with the tire size/width as well to make sure it tucks

Guys, please correct me if I am wrong.

+40 9.5" on the rear with the H&R 1.3/1.2 drop will require the fenders to be rolled.

I have +40 10" rears and they fit but a +39 would not! Yeah, they are that close...

Go for a +55 and get a 10mm spacer. That is what most of the guys who add the M split-5 wheels do.

^^i thought the M wheels were a +50 offset and were not as wide... it's basically a 50/50 situation with spacers...some people use them, and some would never touch them...im the latter one...
