Airbag light?

Hey guys I need some help with my airbag light. My airbag light started flashing so before going to the stealer I figured I'll try to troubleshoot it myself. Thanks to some great resources offered by various users on this site I got my hands on a manual that had a list of diagnostic flash patterns. Non of these patterns matched what I got though. I have a 2004 G35 Sedan and after placing it in diagnostic mode( as per the manual) I got the following flash pattern:
Ignition OFF to ON
Airbag light: ON(7 sec) OFF(2 sec) ON(3 sec) OFF(2 sec) ON(0.5sec) OFF(0.5sec) ON(0.5) OFF(2sec) ON(0.5 sec) OFF(0.5 sec) ON(0.5 sec) and then it repeats except for the intial 7 sec ON.

or if this is easier (each digit represents 0.5 sec and '1' is ON and '0' is OFF)
11111111111111000011111100001010000101 and it repeats 000011111100001010000101 from then on.

Did any of you had something simular or have any clue as to what the flash code indicates? Any inside as to what may be the cause of this is greatly appreciated.

That's what I was going to say. Try that and see if it comes back before you take it in.

Hey guys thanks, I actually tried that but it didn't work. The pattern of flashes that I get in the diagnostic mode is not listed in the repair manual. I think I should take it to the dealer sometime next week to have it looked at. I just hate to dish out $90 only to find out that I could've done it myself.

I had something like that last week, one of the airbag sensors might needs to be replaced....good luck. They will most likely have to order the part so plan accordingly.
