Okay so here's my story. I ordered a pair of GTR tailight overlays from bat in the early summer. I decided to do the install myself to save a couple of bucks. My friend and I tried to get these things on but they didn't come out the way i wanted them to be. Those things are a PITA to install. So, i order another pair over overlays and i go to an auto shop where they do tinting. For those who are familiar with Accessory World on Hylan Blvd(SI,NY) i am happy to say they recently went out of business. So here's what happend when i come in to get the job done. Im standing next to the tinter and hes looking at my work and telling me that i did a pretty good job...at this point im a lil nervous telling him, well im here so u can do a better one...he said "I'll try"...i know i should have left then and there but i was anxious to get them on and plus hes a professional tinter for christ sakes. Anyways the shmuck does a worse job then my friend who has never even tinted a window b4...and i come out an the Fu** has a nerve to charge me $30 for a horrendus job. So i tell him to give me my keys and that im not paying for it. Then came in the business of the police coming...so i just payed cuz i didn't want to start with that whole issue. ANYWAYS, im looking for someone in the NYC area (Brooklyn, Staten Island, Queens,Nassua-LI, parts of even NJ) to install GTR tailight overlays and Headlight overlays FLAWLESSLY. I want a perfect job and i will not settle for anything less. If anyone has got them done somewhere around my area please let me know. Thanks Guys

id try and call tropic window tinting in union, nj like 15 mins outside the holland or 25 mins max from staten island. not sure if they will do the tailights but i know they do just about everything and do an amazing job. all my friends who are willing to pay for quality work always get their windows tinted there and there is a very small tint line and some of them have had their tints since like 1997 still look like the day they were done. check it out.

Try a signshop to thats where i got mine done. They work with vynal on cars so why not.

 

Yea some tint shop mentioned that to me as well...im gonna see the one diesel told me about cuz the place looks legit... hopefully not to pricey tho
