Well i have been away for a while.. but i wanted to post this ..

I recently paid big bucks to get my front breaks fixed.. and the dealer told me that infiniti canada will be providing a new warranty for 60,000 km on breaks.

they will give me a credit for my break job that was done last week.

Excellent work by my service manager thanks.

It took one email and i got a call within 2 days with results..

 

Has anyone been able to determine if Infiniti in the USA is going to warranty the brakes & rotors, etc. as the post just described is the case in Canada?

 

This is a subject that has to be addressed, and I hope to see something from Infiniti soon, anyone actually contacted them?

My dealer called and refunded the cost of pads and resurfacing which greatly improved my view of Infiniti.

They appear still clueless re the need for better materials.
My old 911 gets significantly more "abuse" and doesnt wear pads or rotors. That said the breaking distances and overall feel and on my sedan are as good as the Porsche for street driving (havent been to the track with it..yet), which is some compensation.

 

Did the dealer volunteer this refund, or did you have to ask? I hope by the time I need them, it's common knowledge between all the dealers!
