Wow, I had no idea they have been out that long, I thought they just came out last fall, guess that explains some of the mileage's I see here then!

I bought my "2003" in late August of 2002. The original 2003 like mine trunk lids have the square in the middle with the tucked handle, and the smaller "Infiniti" logo. They switched the trunks to the "new" design on the 2003.5 and later models.

i've got the same lid as ncozby. got mine early october 2002. a few weeks ago, i went to my dealer to check out the M45 for my dad and everyone there thought i was looking to trade.

Trunk lid and a several other subtle changes from 03 to 03.5.. There are a number of threds going back a few months which discussed the differences. You could use the search function to find them if interested.

lol ABQ... and no, i haven't had my brakes done (pads replaced?) yet. i'm dreading it though. i'm at about 8,400 miles right now. according to some people on this forum, i think that they get theirs replaced around 11k (or 14k, i can't remember).

its 11k if i am not mistaken.

 

I have read elsewhere in this forum that in Canada at least they are covering them by warranty, wonder if that's going to happen in the US? It should!

The cars have to be the same, maybe the Canadian consumer people went after them on this, who knows, I won't believe anything until I see it in print somwhere!
