TL projectors hands down, unless you can do some type of hybrid setup.

TL hands down.

I have S2000 low beams and will soon be starting on a TL fog/high retro.

I don't think any of the rest of us know how to do that.

Do you get light any farther down the road with projectors, or is it only cutoff definition and color that improve?
I ask because I am considering going this way but only if it will functionally improve visibility.
Thanks for the input.

you'll get more light if you go with very good projectors like the TL. If you go with projectors like the Morimoto mini, light output will be similar to OEM but with a clean cutoff and nice color.

I'm very happy with the morimotos, very sharp cutoff, nice color and very simple to retrofit

If you have a good cutoff though, you can always go with a higher wattage HID (55w) to get more light.

The harness will handle it, you won't blind people as long as they're above the cutoff, and your high-beams will be epic

I might have to look into this. I want more light from my low beams. It's nice using the factory ballasts though, and come to think of it, not sure how I'd wire in the 55w ballasts in place of the 35w factory ballasts.

I have lots of experience with retrofits on my last couple vehicles. This forum has helped me out and i would like to return the favor.

For you i would recommend the Acura Tl bixenon with ZKW clear lenses and maybe space the bowl to get a sharp cutoff or space the lense.

I had a crossfire with quad projector setup using Acura tl bixenon/ZKW lense and Lexus RX 330 with TSX lenses. This is a killer setup and will light up any sort of road conditions and atleast 3lanes wide and plenty of distance.

I also have a Acura vigor with JDM one piece headlights and retrofitted TSX projectors. I can't wait to get my hands on a quality g35 sedan with 6mt and start the modding process my self.

thanks

I'm thinking dual tl projectors from retrofit with the 35 watt bulb in the headlight one so I can just run those in in stop and go traffic on I95 and a 55w bulb in the fog/high slot so I can fire it up when there is less traffic. This would probably be pricey, but if I'm going through all the effort for more light I might as well do it right! (so long as the tl fits up top)
Does anyone have the 55s...if so do you get flashed a lot?
Thanks again for your input.

^good luck with that. I'm pretty sure there is no possible way of mounting 4 acura tl projectors in a sedan headlight unless u completely do away with the oem reflector and fab up ur own mounting bracket or just mount them to the housing
