I am not a big BMW fan, what is the problem?

I think the front is ugly.

Well.I think it's a hot car.It looks angry.Let it grow on you. I hated the grill on my G at first, but I've grown to appreciate it.
It's Robobeemer.Or a Transformer look.

Wink

There have to be more pressing issues worth using bandwitdth for other than a petition over the styling direction of a compay.

BTW with a 415 horse high rpm 8 it looks completely appropriate, and have you seen the Z coupe?!?!?

It is not all bad for sure, just different.

I asbsolutely hate the 7-series, 6-series (mainly due to the Chrysler cirrus copycat rear-end), Z4 and all the X's, and am only somewhat fond of the new 3-series, but the 5-series has grown on me in a big way. That car is beautiful, especially the M5. The M5 looks absolulety vicous. I wish they'd do more of that organic look. You can see obvious BMW design cues in the new G's front end and side panels.

Like it or not, Bangle has had a creative influence. Plus, there are TWO main BMW exterior designers, not just Bangle.

I like it. I think it looks very agressive.

Where did you hear that?

The latest news I found is last month,

Where Bangle was interviewed & explaining his "flame surfacing"
design logic.
