Best "Big Brake" package?

IMO the best BBK out there is still the Brembo 6-pot(f), 4-pot(r). But it is overkill for mostly street driving with some track. That is a great all track kit.
You have tons of options but it depends on what you want it for?
Just make sure you get wheels that will clear the caliper!
I have the Racing Brake 4-pot front BBK and oem caliper rear 13" rotors. The kit is awesome for the money and I would get it all over again. I got mine back when they first came out and were giving ~25-30% off for forum members. They still offer 10% off and their pricing is already some of the best on the market.

I think the same kit will fit both the sedan and the coupe if I'm not mistaken. I've got the stoptech 13" kit all around and I'm really happy with it both on and off the track. make sure to check pad availability for whichever kit you buy to make sure you have options for both the street and track (if you plan to track). Wilwoods are also pretty good from what I've seen and are typically cheaper than most other brake kits out there. I personally went with stoptech since there's a lot of good feedback about stoptech on these forums and their headquarters is only a couple miles from my house.

I've received good feedback on both the AP Racing and Stoptech kits.
Best really depends on your budget and intentions with the car. Many people will argue that for a street car any of these BBK's are extreme overkill and for a track car all you really need is a set of high temp pads and fluid (such as hawk blues w/ Motul fluid). However, those upgrades don't look nearly as sexy as a BABK behind a nice set of wheels and the pads would have to be swapped out once at the track, so it's a lot more work too.

^ and ^^ Good point on the fluid and I forgot about Wilwood.
I got SS lines and a Motul fluid flush with my BBK. That is an inexpensive addition that you should do for those track/mountain runs.
The Wilwood kit is a great performing lower cost add-on as well.
And yes the same kits fit the sedan as the coupe and 350Z. Again just make sure they clear your wheels.

yeah I second on the fluid. The reason I upgraded brakes was because I cooked my stock brakes on my first track event. It was my own fault for doing too many hot laps without using a high temp fluid and street pads. On a side note, if you go hard on your brakes, your rears will fail before your fronts. I guess our cars have a rear bias or something, but I've talked to other people who tore up their rear brakes on the track while the fronts still held up.
I'm using Motul RBF600 now in my Stoptech setup and I love it. If you want more info about general brake technology and the basics behind how a brake system works, checkout stoptechs website and read their white papers. You'll find a lot of good general brake information not necessarily about their own products.

I am also in the market for a set of BBKs. I am considering getting the Stoptechs (have a set of front OEM replacement rotors now with Hawks pads).
I was considering the Racing Brakes but they don't apper to have a complete matching set for the sedan (front drilled/slotted, rears only slotted) or maybe I am missing something?
Keep this thread going. I am curious to see what others are running as well. Pics would be great too
