question about summer tires

Hello all
I am planning to park my car outside during the winter since i wont be driving it for 4-5 months. Will cold temperatures and snow damage the summer tires even if the car is parked in snow and not driven? (temperatures around -4 F)
Also should i disconnect the battery? (the batt is in a bad shape and i am going to replace it in summer)

Thanks!!!!

I think I would worry about other things, like maybe small animals taking up residence in the car. Like the squirrels that got into my dad's pickup when it wasn't driven for a few months, and chewed through some wiring.

Otherwise, based on some discussion on this forum, you may worry about getting a flat spot in your tires if they sit too long in one spot.

Are you going to be away from the car (school, etc?). If not, can you drive the car once a week or so on warmer days when the roads are clean?

If I wouldnt drive the car for 2+ months, and had no garage available, I would probly put the car on bricks (or jack stands) and have the wheels stored somewhere else. Also would use a weatherproof cover, for the whole car.

Def car cover + jack stands. Also, you'll want to start it up every now since you aren't really storing it
