Things i hate about the G

E-brake by the dead pedal: Sometimes i'll forget to pull the e-brake and drive off with it on.

Lack of storage compartments/space: The armrest compartment isn't deep enough to put much stuff into it.

Fuel lid on the righthand side: It will take time to adjust.

I'll have some more when i come across them.

Coming from my Accord it will take some time for me to adjust to the G.

Coming from an Accord, I'm surprised you didn't mention that the G doesn't have that little ingenius coin compartment by the left air vent. Damn! I miss that!

Do you have a 6th gen? I have a 7th gen and it doesn't have the coin tray by the air vent, but in the armrest console and by center console storage bin. The G has that tray in the armrest compartment so i don't have a complaint about not having a place for my coins in the G.

One more thing.

Navi unit in the passenger compartment: Why didn't they put it in the trunk? It's a waste of storage space, not like i'm going to take the navi disc out alot. At least you guys w/o navi has that extra compartment.

I agree.

Also, I don't like how the volume for the radio is on the right site of the unit.

If you noticed, the arm compartment isnt deep, but you can put something pretty big anyway, the arm rest itself is deep. I have no complaints, I have plenty of room to put all my stuff. I mean really, what do I need to hold there?

I think I touched the volume like twice, ever. I always use the steering controls.

Yup! They decided to move only the steering wheel and pedals from the right-side to the left-side, and to save cost left those important buttons (e.g. navi joystick, volume, temp control, manumatic shift, etc.) on the right-side. Those buttons would have been more convinient if they were placed on the left-side. I noticed they corrected this on the new G sedan by placing the manumatic shift to the left.

The headunit all the way at the bottom isn't the best position for it . I would move the climate controls at the bottom and headunit in the middle. They finally made a change in the 07.
