Is is possible to use a staggered set up such as the coupe uses on the sedan with the different width rims??

yes.

most go with 8.5" in the front and 9.5" in the rear.

Not recommended if you have a G35X though.

Search around, lots of us have that.

I have 20x8.5 and 20x10 with 245/35 front and 275/30 rear.

Search is your friend.

But Cru can be your worst nightmare if you are not careful!

this is for an 03.5 sedan w/350z drop and sport suspension.

I'm mainly concerned w/the offset and the size of the rear tire fitting.

I would bet those rears are going to rub. That rim offset is too aggressive for the sedan.

No way. It should be more like +45mm.

38 in the front will work fine but 40 in the rear will stick out too much if you have a 9.5" rim it would work with an 8.5 but that wouldn't be an aggressive staggarded setup. You are better off getting a +45 in the rear
