Re: Body Kit

it looks freaking low. you guys must scratch going up driveways all the time. i had a lowered prelude...about 3 inches from the ground...and that was ok..but still a hassle. the G with its long wheelbase must be a helluva hard drive...espescially with 6MT

Re: Body Kit

I've been toying with matching the stock grill color to the body color for some time. After seeing your pics I might give it a try. I need to get a new grill anyway because mine is damaged (road construction rock!) and I can play with the old one. Can anyone photoshop a sedan's stock grill matched to the body color, specifically black?

Re: Body Kit

I just looked at your pics in Photoshop, and even with the lo-res they look pretty well done!

Re: Body Kit

Here's a quick job, i removed the chrome too... and the headlight housings are obviously darker. Actually, the headlight housing thing was kind of for a goof, but after looking at this pick, I'm thinking of having them painted!

Re: Body Kit

2k2max.. that picture is how the G35 looks when you have taken too many tabs of acid. I don like the blacked out look though. I think infiniti would be wise to make their sport version with blacked out trim and more aggresive looking wheels.

Re: Body Kit

is that you do like or don't like? What if the wheels were a darker color too? I've got to go to work, but I'll phototshop that in later too. I think the wheels are alright (for 17s) they just need to look a little difference. How 'bout this for a sports edition: Blacked out look, 18x9 in back with 18x8.5 up front, duel exhaust, and drumroll please... 287hp! Oh wait, one more thing-Fricken HID highbeams! I can't believe that my Maxima had better headlights than my G!

Re: Body Kit

Thanks for the photoshop, it looks good IMO. Since I have a new grill on order I will paint my old one black to match the car. I'll post the pics once it's done.

BTW, what technique in photoshop did you use?

Thanks!

Re: Body Kit

I used the paintbrush tool set to multiply, color black, I forget what percent opacity. That was to turn all of the chrome black, it just happened to work pretty well. I tried with another pic and it didn't work as well. I used a lense flare to cover up a hard edge between the paintbrush black and the car's black. Then just used the liquify effect for the background.
