Lowered sedan thread

There is a thread for lowered all wheel drive models. I want to get one started for ones that are rear wheel drive (to help me decide what to get). I know there are picture threads, but most don't say what they used to lower their cars i.e 350z/coupe springs or tein. Also info on how the car rides and if you used diffeent shocks or stock sport vs. non sport. I have searched, but it takes forever. Please post pics and info.

Maybe someone could start one for the '07 also.

Lowered on coupe s-techs springs, 350z stock shocks, hotckis sways.

Car rides stiffer then stock with almost no bounciness. Day and night handling improvement, and with coupe 19s its much rides much stiffer than stock. The steering is much precise also, but i think sways caused this.

Before: Eibach Pro Kits

After: Eibach Pro Kits and stock sport package shocks

The drop was lowerer in the front than in the rear, handling felt pretty much the same, the rear was a little bouncy (I have srpt pack shocks) lots of scraping of my front lip with these springs and I needed a camber kit. I plan on switching to the 350z/G35coupe setup in the next couple weeks.

Here's a picture lowered with OEM revised 350Z springs (1/1 drop):

And here it is lowered on Tein Basics (approx 1.7/1.3 at the current setup, i'll be raising the rear a little to even it out and so the camber isnt soo bad):

I am no expert, but I've heard of people using spacers from energy suspension to raise theirs.

He has coilovers, same springs, all he has to do is raise the perches.

Ahh thanks I assumed Tein basics were springs not coilovers.

I knew you'd come around after a few weeks of the first drop on coilovers
That's the beauty of having coilovers over just a set of springs/shocks...you can change it up.

Back to the topic.
Dropped on Tein CS coilovers. Approx. 1" in the rear and 1.5" up front (maybe more all around...I didnt measure). On a setting of medium up front and medium +2 in the rear, it rides a little stiffer than stock non-sport. I still have yet to dial it in completely stiff all around. I am going to wait for my 19's to come in and play with the dampening from there.

Pics-

yeah, i got the SPC rear camber/toe kit, but i could only get it to -1.7/1.5 without throwing the toe completely out. Before i raise the rear i'm gonna drop the front down another half inch and do a photoshoot, then raise it all up afterwards, i cant be buying tires every 6 months.

Looking good, are you planning to get the aero package? I want to see how carribeam blue looks like with the aero kit on.

Dude, no offense, but this picture does nothing to illustrate your wheel gap - that being one of the main reasons for lowering.
