Your head lights are "on" when you start up the car correct? Take them off of "Auto" mode.
It sounds like the dimmer switch is not working for your dash.

My dash as well looks like yours upon initial startup-no exterior lights on.

there is a fuse box next to the battery, there is a fuse there that may be the problem, I had a similar issue where everything on the center console was out except the last setting that was on for the air, nothing else would work
it was a fuse in the box next to the battery check that, once I changed it everything was fine

i've seen this problem one too many times. have you changed any bulbs recentely?

did that reverse direction thing require any additional wiring?

I'm having the same problem! My heater and stereo lights are not working. and my clock light is off too! I checked all my fuses, except the one by the battery. My tail lights works still.... I remember that one time I was going for a ride, I turned on the lights and my centre console lights took a few seconds to come on? Any other things I could try? My buttons all still work for the stereo and heater, just no lights!!

basically took everything apart behind the battery, where that fuse box is, since thats where the fuse is located for the taillights and console lights. checked all the wires and re wrapped them since i have a wire tuck. Put everything back and everything worked fine for about 50 miles then the fuse blew again. Im gonna swap out my dimmer, even though that maynot be the problem but i donno what else to try. Everything is grounded and no wires are expose. I have no idea what else to look for.

Which fuse is it? I looked through all of them and I can't seem to find a blown one! Also, my marker (side lights) are not working.

P.S. My tail lights don't work either!!!!
