One of the dealers that I usually buy my cars throught has a 2005 G35 sedan. The guy just got it like 2 weeks ago. It has 13000 miles on it and he is putting it on sale for $24000. I can probably get him to sell it to me for $21000.
The previous owner ran the car into a dich. Dont know how much the damage was, but I drove the car and it drives pretty nice. I just want your guys opinion on this. You guys are better at judging the car since most of you probably have one. Let me know what you think and what else should I ask him in order for you to make a better decision.

Is it worth buying??
It has everything a sedan will have. Bose sound system. premium wheels. not 19' though. Has a rear spoiler. No navigation. Does play MP3/CDs, etc.

Get a carfax report and make sure it doesn't have a salvaged title.

 

Its not a salvaged title. I havent gotten a carfax report. I'll ask him if he can get one for that car. This guy is a mechanic as well. He buys wreaked cars and fixes them up and sells them. I have bought 3 cars from him, and so far no major problems. Is there anything else I should look for in the car to make sure its not a bad deal.

More test driving? like on the highway and stuff?
Getting inspect by a different mechanic?

they wont go to 21000 man...even if you pay cash. thats way below what they could get wholesale

aim for 22500 or 22900 that would still be a good deal
