I'm so sorry you had such a bad time with them.
If there is anything I can do to help let me know.

Tim goog luck on whatever engine build you do, beware though you never get out of debt faster than you get in...lol, even I am having second thoughts of pulling the engine again just to drop compression, I may just get other things done and turn up the boost and see what she can produce. I f I can get 450-460rwhp then I'm happy for my daily driving habits

I would like more power but my main reason for the engine build would be safety. The VQ has such high compression I know it is only a matter of time. I still have the water/meth kit sitting in my garage, I might throw that on and see if it helps me out any.

Awesome!!!
You are about to pass me... literally

We need to talk more about this. I would love to do my own build and swap to save a ton of $$$ but am a bit scared of the build. Maybe you can help make me feel better. I have the ability to do it and even most of the tools.

Well I finished my amp rack a few weeks back and took a couple pics today. You can't see them in the daylight but there are white LED's lighting the amps.

The carpet does not match 100%. That was the darkest I could find so I either need to redo the rest of the trunk or the amp rack again. But at least it is harder to see in person than in the pics.

Tim, lookin good (as expected). I like the black finish on the amps JL offers now. I gotta look at getting my amp covers changed up. What's the rest of the system?

Yes I can still get to the spare, it was the reason for the simple design. I have kids with me a lot and can't wait for AAA if I get a flat. Since the little one won't fit my brakes I have an oem 350Z front wheel down there.

Thank you

The full system is:

Eclipse AVN 6600 with Sirius and 80GB iPod
JL 450/4
JL 1000/1
JL 12W6
Focal K2P mids and highs (F/R)
Stinger 15F cap

I could use a little more bass so I might add another 12W6 later on but have been too lazy to build the box.
