Thanks for the confidence. That would be nice but I'll be in San Francisco next week. Maybe in a month or so.

Flying in with the GF and her family for a few days. Going to come in Turs and go home Monday.

Going to pop the question over the weekend.

We have one day to ourselves and going to drive into SF. Any suggestions on what to check out? We will be staying in a house up in Bodega Bay. She even rented us an FX to drive so I would feel at home. 

WOW! Good luck & congrats. I don't go to SF very often so I can't help you out with places to go. You'll get plenty of responses if you post in the NorCal section. We have lots of riders in the Bay Area. Bodega By is very nice, drive the sheit out of the FX there if you get a chance.

Big congrats, Tim! I've been married three weeks myself; it's been great, what can I say? My sister in law lives in SF with her boyfriend, so if you don't have any luck getting advice on where to go from the boards (I'm sure you won't have a problem), just let me know and I'll see what I can do!

Take care man, and don't forget the ring, er, I mean, good luck!

I have kids so a 4D was required.

Also when I got the G I did not plan on all the mods. I was happy with it as-is.

scary....this is the same reasons I bought mine....and I didn't plan on ever going this deep into the mods, either.

This will be #2 for me. My first was a huge mistake and I rushed into it too fast. This time I have been thinking about it for a year now.

Hey ttrank quick question -

I didn't really want to go through 45 pages to find the answer, so I apologize if its been answered already.

What did you have to do to your radiator to make it fit good? The reason I ask is because I've heard there are no aftermarket radiators for the G, so how did you make yours fit? Also did you notice a big difference in cooling? I live in Vegas and you're in AZ, so its about the same temperatures. My G goes up a bit after driving for bit, and when its parked and when I turn it on the gauge is usally up about 80%, but then I start to move and it goes down to normal...I'm not sure if I should be worried about this or not. And I was hoping if I just popped in a huge radiator if it would fix my cooling worries/issues.

Any advice would be helpful I also plan on getting a TS style CF hood soon..hopefully that'll help with cooling a bit.

Hi!

I never saw my temp go up, even before the radiator. You might check to see if there is any air in your system before getting a larger radiator.

But to answer your question, I had to trim down the outside of the fans a little, make new holes on the bottom and mount it from the front. It was not hard but at the same time I would not call it a drop in.

From what I know SGP Racing in Tx has a direct drop in radiator for the G now. I am not sure it will work with the JWT kit you have so check with them first. Otherwise the AMS one should fit with the minor mods I did.

The hood you are getting will help a lot too. You could try that first and see if you still need the radiator. I got mine for more the bling factor and it was on a group buy for ~$300 shipped.

Ether way, come back and let me know what you decide to do. Next time I am in Vegas we need to have that meet. I promise to give you more notice.
