hey guys my friend is getting rid of his g. Does anyone know anything about
1. The s550
2. Audi A8
3. Audi S6

Has anyone driven them. Any help would be appreciated

 

Those cars are way above the G in so many ways. You need to research and drive each one before you make any decisions.

I would go for the S6 out of those choices.

 

the S6 for speed, but the A8 for status and style

Mercedes are for people trying to compensate for something...

 

why take advice from strangers who most likely dont own these cars? i say just tell your friend to go test drive and decide from himself...

 

drove a friends brand new s550 a few weeks ago, very, very, very nice car. It's their daily driver because their other car is a Mybach (which is a lot more fun to sit in the back seat than drive). A co worker has an A8, haven't driven it, but sat in the passenger seat, it is also a very nice car, and might go from 60 to 120 faster than any car I have ever been in. You can't go wrong with either of those. The A6 is a step down from both, but also not a bad car either. Personally I'd go with the s550, but that is because I still consider an Audi a yuppy-mobile. Actually now that I think about it, for the price of an s550, I'd rather have a BMW 760 or M5.

 

On the S550, I'd wait until next year. Mercedes is notorious for having 1st year bugs. My mother has had about 15 MBs over the years. I had an e320 prior to my G, and my wife has a C320Wagon now.

As long as its under warranty, great cars and fabulous service.

 

S6 is it.......Gallardo based V-10 detuned. Enough said! S550 if you want the big sedan thing.
