Brake pad opinion
Am really confused with what brake pads to buy - there are so many opinions, experiences, it seems like almost a crapshoot to get the right one. I know one thing for sure, the OEM ones suck... as far as padlife goes.
My driving style is relatively spirited -Am replacing rear rotors and replacing front with frozen rotors. Above all hate squealing/noise - want quick grab, low fade, and of course low dust-- may be a pipe dream, but does anyone out there have a great experience w/ a particular brand ? Just a quick note would be appreciated.

i have heard that "hawk" makes really good pads. They are not completely metallic pads, which means you will have less dust, but they are partially metallic so you will still have some dust. Project Mu makes great pads for our cars as well. They offer different pads for different kinds of driving which is nice.
I would say to go with the hawk hps pads. Everyone seems to love them...

Changed out my fronts with the EBC greenstuff last Saturday..didn't notice too much of a difference yet..but this is my first change since i bought the car (i've heard only good things tho).....gonna do my rears this weekend....53.95 for the fronts at pepboys...

and the dust problems. go with ceramic pads

One thing I've experienced with the Hawk HPS pads is really poor performance in wet conditions. Anyone else with Hawks have the same problem?

DO NOT USE CERAMIC PADS!!! They will put a coating on your rotors and it will feel like the are warped I had them on and the pads break down to there were chunks missing in 20,000 miles GARBAGE
