Nice looking, but what are they and why did you choose them? Cost?

When my Goodyear summer tires were done I went for Avon Tech M550 A/S in a 235/50/17. Great tire overall, they do tend to flat-spot in the cold if the car sits for too long, but once they warm up that goes away. They are softer riding and quieter while maintaining good grip in most conditions except ice. They even made my tail happy 6mt rwd VERY driveable in the snow (with VDC active of course). Overall I am very happy. I got them @ $131 a tire at Tire Rack and chose them becasue the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S was just a bit pricey for me at $193/tire. That said, I've driven on both and would probably choose the Michelin next time to avoid the flat spot issue (the car only goes out on the w/e) and due to better predictability and ability to launch harder. I would definately choose the 235 width, the stock size was just too narrow for my taste unless you drive in lot of snow.

Sorry for the long blah blah, hope this helps.
