Good News, Borla Exhaust for the Sedan is out >>
Borla has released the system from R&D and is going into production.... Straight from Borla "Borla Performance Industries is proud to announce the release of Cat-Back™ system part number 140093. This system has been designed for the 2003 Infinity G35 4 door sedan equipped with a 3.5L V6 engine and automatic or manual transmissions. The 140093 installs to the factory flanges located just after the catalytic converters and is made from full aircraft quality T304 stainless steel. It is a dual rear exiting system with a 4” Borla embossed single round, rolled edge, angle cut tip at each exit. This system consists of two 2.25” inlet pipe leading to a 19” long, 10” wide oval muffler. Exiting the muffler are two 2.25” pipes connecting to two 16” long, 5” diameter resonator mufflers. Following the resonators are two 2.25” over axle pipes leading to a single 10” long, 10” wide oval rear muffler. R&D testing has shown that our system flows up to 428.3 cfm more than the factory exhaust (for a total flow of 885.9 cfm @ 70psi) and has shown an increase of up to 14 additional horsepower and 11 ft. lbs. of torque. 140093 weights in at 51 lbs. while the factory system weights in at 74 lbs. This system averages 4 dba louder than the factory exhaust."

More info to come, they should be available in 4 weeks, price is also around the Lower 700s. Thanx Again for your help in making this system.

That's great news for Sedan owners, and Borla would be the one I would choose. I have Borla on my Coupe and love it.
I wonder why there's an extra muffler in the Sedan system?
As you can see from my pic, there are 2 resonators at the front, and one crossover muffler at the rear.
It will be interesting to hear the difference.

seeing how it is a dual system 2.25 would more than suffice.
4decibal increase is not much. which i am happy about~ because people usually hear the difference of 3db.

21 here. If I wanted a coupe vehicle, I would have bought a vette or kept my 03 cobra. Four doors is much better for hauling everything (including friends). More trunk room, just as fast, and looks just as good (as long as you get the sport pkg and kit).

Oh, I was explaining my reasoning for my investment. Someone said something like, "sedan owners are old farts that don't like loud exhuast". I realized after my post that he was a sedan owner just making a joke. woops.

We should have one in about 3 weeks. I'll try to get one from borla before hand, but they usually don't do that.

two questions:
1.) I recall a post suggesting that the "!st muffler" in this sustem MAY be a "new Borla designed muffler" that incorporated an external muffler-like wrapping and internal X-pipe crossing. Can anyone confirm/refute this? Or does it hide an H-pipe?
2.) Any word (official or otherwise) on the Borla pricing yet? Thanks
