Same thing almost happened to me today. The traffic light turned from red to green and I was about to make a left turn onto the highway. Took my foot off of the brake and about to hit the gas when I looked to my right and an 18 wheeler ran his red light. I would have been road kill; he was going about 50. Two to three seconds had to have passed after my light turned green before he went through the intersection. On a side note I passed him up and flipped him off.

Glad you're alright and don't worry, that's what insurance is for.

Damn, your ride looked real nice. Hope you can save some of those mods.

GL!

thanks guys for all those comments !!!

guy had AIS insurance.. i am about 95% sure its his fault.. this depends on what the witness says in the end..

police report was taken but it will come out in about 1 week.

in around a week from now, i will be notified if my car is totalled or not.. if it is. I WILL PART OUT MY CAR.

and my lawyer told me that they are FOR SURE paying for all the MODS i had on the car.

thanks again guys!

Yeah, they will. They may give you some reduced market value but you will get a good amount for them. They deal with this kind of stuff all the time.

The worst in this case is that you are out some money if you want a new replacement car. Myself, I don't plan on replacing my 04 for at least another 3 years. If it got totalled now, I'm in the market NOW. I guess in theory I could buy an 04 for what I would get, but then it is a crapshoot whether the car has been taken care of properly.

Wow, it's a bad sight to see a beautiful G like that. Glad you are ok, Razo. Hope that SOB pays you your car and more.

It's especially sad that I have seen your car in person. I saw your car on Del Mar Ave a few weeks ago. I was telling my wife how I love that black roof on a white G.

Well, if you decide to part your car, pm me on your mid-pipe and HKS rear section if there is no damage.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I hope you've seen a doctor because it looks like a hard impact. If he has insurance take it to the max and make sure you don't have medical issues in the near future.
