Help with clicking noise
Help with clicking noise
Well 3 weeks ago I bent a wheel and have since replaced it with a new wheel and had the old tire put on it. The dealership didn't find anything wrong with my suspension and the Firestone who I had mount/balance the tire on the new wheel didn't seem to think there was any problem with the old tire.
So I put the new wheel on Friday and did not have any problems until tonight when I was driving home and I started to hear a clicking sound, kind of like if you stick something in the spokes of a bike. The sound gets slower/louder when I go slow and faster/more quiet when I go faster, the sound also goes away when I have the brakes applied. I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas what could be causing this clicking sound? Could I have put the wheel on wrong? Just want to get an idea before I bring it in tomorrow. Thanks for any help any one gives me.
