Wipers

Hey guys I have an '03 sedan that i bought a while back and i need new wipers. the ones that are on there are pretty cool and i would like to get the same ones. I cant seem to find a brand but they have no metal exposed it has like a rubber boot around it. i dont know if this is the kind that originally came on it. let me know what you think. thanks

Regardless of what you had, Bosch Icons are the way to go.

valeo from the tire rack are the best wipers I've owned the are the same as on the german cars just the blade they are designed to press against the glass when driving instead of lifting like normal blades

Best wipers

Bosch Icons RULE baby. I've used both the Valeos and the Icons. I prefer the Icons.

Can you get the Icons at your local auto parts store or do you need to order them online?

You can get them at a local store, and I also agree with the above posts. Icons are awesome. I got mine at Advance Auto Parts.

Absolutely, Icons are expensive but great. No lift, no chatter.

^+1 on the Icons. They are awesome. I got mine at Kragen here in the Bay Area. Got the 18" and 24" sizes.

Has anyone compared these to the PIAA Silicones? I have some PIAA's, and they too cost a lot but I'm not quite thrilled with them.

you guys should look at siliblade.com

They have the new flexblade (similar to valeo and bosch design) that uses silicone instead of rubber. These provide a rainx type coating with every wipe. They are great. I've had them on my audi and now on my new g35 6mt.

I love my Valeos. They're so quiet and work amazingly. My wife noticed a huge difference on her Legacy GT too. You can't beat the buy one get one free offer at the Tire Rack. $40 for two sets of Valeo wipers.
