Q about body kits on the Sedans?

Most People say that the front bumpers for a 03-04 and 05-06 are different but I think they are they same!! If you look at most any site to buy aftermarket kits when you order the kits they all say 03-06 sedan!! and if you add it to your check out it does ask you to specify what year you have!!

Example.....
http://www.kgsengineering.com/g35-20...ec959497edddda

If you look here they state that a 03-06 kit will work on all years but the new 07s

heh, those particular kits on that site are pretty crappy fitment. i think sites that list it as such just don't know any better. don't get me wrong, more power to the person willing to try. but just a simple visual check shows that the grill and headlights are different. that picture of that hood is another indication.

I have personally looked at 05-06 and 03-04 side by side and they look(bumpers) very very close mounting wise and the grill from a 03-04 will mount to a 05-06. If you look at the grills they are just taller in 05-06 but the radiator housing is the same!

the mount point are probably the same, but if it were to work, you'd have to mate grill and bumper. if anything the headlights would kill it, needless to say there's going to be modification. i think that most people want that direct fit.

they're very slightly different. The headlights on the bottom have a different shape which changes the shape of the fenders and the front bumper. And the grille and hood are different. They look the same but they most definitely are not.

This is the 2nd tread on the same topic it's doesn't fit if you want to waste your money go for it but threads like this cause people that don't know any better and probably saved up their money to go out get a kit that doesn't fit then have to pay to have it modified to fit in addition to getting it painted etc...

You will find that there are 200 coupes to every sedan so I am sure you will see me around. It's nothing personal I am just concerned someone will buy a kit that doesn't fit and raise hell.
