how many miles do you get?

I have a 04 g35x sedan and i heard the gas tanks are 20 gallons. I only get about 300 miles per fill up. Is there a gauge in the car i see see how many miles i have left. I know on my bmw before I could do that.

Can't say for sure, but my initial thought is NO. Its a feature that comes with the OEM Navi package.

Based on what the OEM nav says, 19 to 21 mpg, depending on my driving mood, mixed 30% city, 70% highway, on 235-50-17s.

how many total miles do you get on a full tank of gas thats what i mean? How many gallons do you have left after the low gas indicator comes on?

Not many people ever use a full tank of gas. Most of us refill before it gets empty. What is so difficult about figuring MPG? If you drive 300 miles on a full tank, and the tank will take 15 gallons when you fill it, divide 300 by 15 for 20 MPG. 4th grade math! Analog gas gages are, at their best, untrustworthy and impossible to read accurately.

Varies. I usually get up to 300 + or - 30 miles when I fill up, and then it takes around 15, sometimes 17 gallons at the pump.

Theoretically, if the nav is correct, at 20 mpg for a 20 gal tank, should be able to go 400 miles before running out of gas. Each mile less per gallon should be 20 less miles.

There are other threads on this as well. Your 300 sounds average from what I've been reading on this site.

i get average ~21 MPG (mostly highway commute). I usually fill up at about 330 miles or so with a shy less than a quarter tank of gas.
