for those of you that haven't seen this thread, groupbuy on this item has started. The 2nd concept test pair will be finished within a few weeks. I'll bring them out to a couple meets near SoCal so you guys can check them out in person.

I have not done any in person comparisons, but judging from their website; they seem to be using SMD LED's which are much smaller. Also they don't have the switching options that I have thought up. It appears as if theirs is 2 long white strips of light, which kind of defeats the purpose of the LED "look". If I wanted two long strips of light I could have saved all the trouble of soldering and tossed in two CCFL tubes in there. Mine are 100% customizeable. I look forward to working with the customer at an individual vs. individual basis. I'm very flexible and if you would like to have your own custom variations to the product, I will be willing to work with you as long as it's physically and mechanically possible. For example, one of the gentlemen wants blue LED's rather than Amber and I am willing to work with him. I just need to know an approximation of how many people are interested so I can start calculating the cost of the final product. The more orders I get the cheaper it will be, mostly due to the fact that the more PCB (circuit boards) I order the cheaper they are.

If you have any questions, please feel free to PM me.

What would be cool would be to have two sets of inputs.

Regular running lights = white, but a flasher input to blink amber (and maybe turn the whites off).

Then you get the functionality of a side turn signal as well - very much worth the $$$ then.

That can be done, as seen here on mine:

The only problem with that you do need to splice a wire in, there is no way to make that 100% plug and play.
