Another reason to own a G

Dropped off my car for its 10k service at the dealer today - i feel naked without my ride

Anyways the dealer here handles both Nissan and Infiniti. But we Infiniti customers have a special "RED LANE" (as in red carpet) to drive up to and leave our car for service. So as I drive up I see the service area packed, car waiting in line but all of them Nissans also liked the fact that people stare at you when they see a 24yr old driving/owning a 40k car (yeah it costs that much here in Middle East).

The Infiniti area was empty hehe and damn the is loud in the service bay with the pop charger/ztube/md spacer.

Just wanted to gloat!

I thought the Infiniti brand was exclusive in US. I guess I was wrong.
Damn you paid $40k for a sedan?

when u got ballers here y not market it? there are so many FX35's around its silly. The market for g35 sedans and coupes is mild though and thats nice - good to have a car which isn't as common as a corolla or civic

depends on the type of job, employer, field, education level. if you are a foreigner (US/Canada/UK/Europe) education you are a semi baller

I studied in Canada and just landed a sweet job 6 months ago - thats how I paid off the G.

Construction is booming here, so is real estate.

I have yet to go in for Infiniti service. I am hoping that I feel as special (not joking). One of the reasons I bought the car was so that I no longer have to ride in the Nissan Quest with 6 people being dropped off at work all over the city. I want to roll into the dealer and be given another Infiniti to drive to work.

My Z was at the dealer for two weeks (under warranty) and they couldn't figure out a problem. I finally demanded a rental car and they gave me a Malibu from Budget. I tried to get at least a Titan or Frontier, or even another used Nissan that I would feel alright in (coming from a 350Z I would not want to get stuck with a Sentra). The best I could get was the Malibu for another TWO weeks.

So, yes, call me a snob, but buying a $30k car and getting service like that? So that's why I got a G35. At least it is at the bottom of the Infiniti barrel, so the loaner will be another G35!

What do you do in Dubai? Are you American?

How did you find your job out there?

Dubai sounds sick from what ive heard and seen. A friend of mine valet for the prince of Dubai the other day here in Florida. He drove a Bentley. But yea, their are some crazy rich people that live their. Wouldn't mind visiting their or even living their in the near future.
