I have to bring my 04 X in tommaro for the head unit replacement for the 3rd time as when cd's play they don't play all the time and they get stuck and the unit grinds anyone else have this problem? I have done a search but noone with this much of a problem has come up.

 

yeh my HU gave out 3 weeks after my warranty ended
and now im screwed

mine wouldnt read cds too. replaced the WHOLE RADIO UNIT 3x and still need to be replaced again because its not reading the #3 cd and my satillite dont work now.

But seriously, I've heard that it's cheaper to go DD than to replace it with the same stock HU when you're out of warranty. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that if you're replacing it with the same exact HU, that the same problem will occur. ESPECIALLY if this is your third time replacing it. These dealers just don't get it that our stock HU just plain suck.
