I've had my 04 for 3 years now, but this is the first really bad weather I've had (southern Oklahoma) since I've had it.
An inch of ice/sleet that fell from last Friday through Sunday.
It has handled better than I would have expected with the ice on the ground. Not great, mind you, but better than my experience with 70's eras RWD cars. The traction control, ABS, and a better weight distribution are the major benefits (as well, possibly, more experience since my college days).
I don't know how I could have had much better handling without chains on the ice
Now, with my vacation through New Mexico later this week, I hope that the weather cooperates and I don't have to test it's handling again.

You guys only got 1"? Damn, you're lucky. Kansas City is entombed in ice. Here's my driveway over the weekend. Yes, that is pure ice. 6" to be exact, in some places. 3" overall. Thank goodness for the sleet because it actually gives some traction.
